A few kilometers from the village is Chapelco resort. We will spend three days in this amazing terrain. High speed six people gondola, four people chairlifts, natural half pipes, one of the better wood runs you can imagine and a breath taking view of Lanin National Park, and Lanin Volcano, makes it no doubt the most diverse and interesting resort. For those who want to attempt it, off-piste in the backside is also excellent, with chairlift access to powder bowls, La Pala backcountry incredible run, and more... In the afternoon you will sure find the local PatagoniaPowder friends at Pradera del Puma Pub, in the middle of the mountain, having a great time with a mix of hot chocolate, Quilmes (local beer) and pizza, in a perfect spot to watch the sunset over The Andes... Night life is endless locals hit first the pubs, then the casino and finally the disco, till morning!
Day 3 Chapelco Villa La Angostura
After scoring another powder day at Chapelco slopes, we will take the road towards the small mountain town of Villa La Angostura, regarding road conditions we´ve got three options, including the amazing and world known Siete Lagos (Seven Lakes) pass, and as the pass is snowed you will realize why we love our 4X4 truck. The landscape is something you will never forgetÉ. Villa La Angostura is becoming today the most fashion tourist mountain town in Argentina, small, charming, no crowed, sits on the western shore of Nahuel Huapi lake, just in front of Bariloche city, both in Nahuel Huapi National Park. Lots of restaurants, pubs, gets the right mix of peace and fun...
Day 4-5 Cerro Bayo Villa La Angostura
Cerro Bayo is Villa La Angostura ski resort. Still managed by a pioneer and also his founder, the place is really cool. Never ending wood runs, great hiking will take us to untouched powder bowls and backcountry runs. We will spend two full days exploring this terrain and surroundings...We still remember that 1995 Sunday. The night before had snowed more than 1.5m, for those who make it to the parking lot, (again you will cherish our 4X4 truck), were the ever dreaming days...waist deep dry powder...for days...At night, after the delicious village food, there will be enough time for relax, or hit the pubs full of fun local people...

After checking in our five stars cabins, with heated in/out pool, jacuzzi and SPA, we will take a short lake road to Catedral (Cathedral) world class resort, divided in Alta Patagonia and Robles. Before midday we will be riding Robles slopes. Although older than Alta Patagonia in infrastructure, locals said that is the perfect place to stay for its steeps and off-piste access to powder bowls, cliff and chutes of Punta Nevada and the backside terrain of La Laguna. Party begins late afternoon at the small village base with, pubs, e-mails (if you are an IT addict you also send e-mails at cabins on the mountain) and take a look to the scene of the most fashion resort in South America...It´s no difficult seeing beautiful models, actors, famous sportsman, and strange pictures...Snow Polo, Rugby...If you were looking a place to party...this is the coolest place to be.
