This
is an intermediate to advance/expert skier and boarder level tour.
It was designed in the way you can make this adventure as challenging
as you want. Please see the reservation form for descriptions
of downhill skills. Although backcountry experience is not needed,
its is encouraged if you want to go off-piste. No mountaineering
skills are necessary. And remember the better shape you are (not
Shaq O´Neil...) the more you will enjoy, this exciting trip..
|
| Accommodations |
| We
will spend the nights in great cozy "full loaded" cabins at San
Martin de los Andes (heated inside/outside pool, sauna and jacuzzi),
a great mountain hotel at Villa La Angostura, and a five star small
mountain hotel at Bariloche (heated inside/outside pool, jacuzzi,
sauna, SPA, lake view and more...) |
| Meals
|
| All
breakfast and dinners are included in this tour (2/3 dinners at
Bariloche, not included). You will be responsible for the cost of
other meals. Estimated cost range form $5 to $15 depending how much
you want to spend...There will be several times when we are invited
by local friends to grill Asado, dinners, etc. We may also decide
to cook ourselves from time to time, and we will be all chipping
in for groceries. |
| Safety |
Please
read our Safety and Avalanche Awareness section.
Although our guides are trained in Avalanche Awareness, we believe
local information is extremely useful and important. That is why
at every resort we visit, we will take a lesson form the local Ski
Patrol.
When necessary, tour guest will be provided with transceivers, shovels,
and probes before going into the backcountry, and our guides will
teach how to use them. |
