We
will meet you and other guests at Ezeiza International brand new
Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina capital city, and the most
modern city in South America.
Our private transportation will take you to Jorge Newbery Airport,
for a domestic flight to Neuquen, capital of Neuquen Province
in Patagonia Region. Neuquen is the place with more National Parks,
and resorts in the country.
Upon arrival, you will meet PatagoniaPowder guide, and we will
take the road with ours private 4X4 trucks to San Martin de los
Andes, crossing the most impressive desert like earth, valleys
and really deep cannons.
San Martin is an incredible mountain village, small and peaceful
but with lots of restaurants, casino, pubs and discos. Our accommodations
here are great, with heated inside/outside pool, sauna, etc
Youd better be prepare for tomorrows beginning adventure..

A few kilometers form the village is Chapelco resort. We spend three
days in this amazing terrain. High speed six people gondola, four
people chairlifts, natural half pipes, one of the better wood runs
you can imagine and a breath taking view of Lanin National Park,
and Lanin Volcano, makes it no doubt the most diverse and interesting
resort.
For those who want to attempt it, off-piste in the backside is also
excellent, with chairlift access to powder bowls, La Pala backcountry
incredible run, and more... In the afternoon you will sure find
the local PatagoniaPowder friends at Pradera del Puma Pub, in the
middle of the mountain, having a great time with a mix of coffee,
Quilmes (local beer) and pizza, watching the sunset on the Andes
just one more time...
Night life is endless locals hit first the pubs, then the casino
and finally the disco, till morning! |

After
scoring another powder day at Chapelco slopes, we will take the
road towards Pucon, crossing for the first time the Andes Cordillera,
trough Chile, and as the pass is snowed you will realize why we
love our 4X4 truck.
The landscape is something you will never forget
The prehistoric
wood of Araucarias, a tree you will only see this part of the world,
crystal clear lakes, and the presence of the giant, the Lanin Volcano.
Just in the Argentine border we will be at Lanin Volcano base...
Mapuches (natives) said that in the battle between all region volcanoes,
he was the one who arise with the battle... Just his figure explains
why...
Leaving behind Lanin National Park, and trough Villarrica National
Park, we reach Pucon.
Pucon is know as Chiles adventure capital. Surrounded by two
national parks, this village is at the black sand shore of Villarrica
lake. Pucon also offers 4/5 class rafting at Trancura river, snowshoeing,
horseback riding, volcanic caves, thermal springs, and of course
South America most active Volcano... Villarrica. Last big eruption
was some years ago, and small eruptions are occurring while you
are reading this. At night if you see something brighten orange
in the sky, you have found him... |

| You
will never forget the experience of ridding most active volcano
in South America, and taking a look inside its crater. For those
of us climbing, after a four hours hiking we will get to the top,
at 2840m - 9316feet. From this point with have and epic view of
Chile´s lake district and the most magnificent volcanoes in the
region. The descent to Villarrica resort is more than 1600m, trough
alpine slopes, natural half pipes, cornices and wind lips. If you
don´t feel like climbing, you can stay at Villarrica resort, with
also, natural half pipes and more... or hit one of Pucon options,
rafting, snowshoeing, etc. Late afternoon we will re group and finish
the day just relaxing in Licura thermal springs, draining from the
volcano. Night life? Pucon has several different restaurants. After
dinner, Mamas & Tapas pub is a must, or the casino, or the movie
theater, or the disco (For you!), or..., or... |

| After
breakfast, we will attempt on the volcano climb if weather has been
a factor, or spent a great day in the fun slopes of Villarrica,
with easy access backcountry terrain all over de Volcano. After
the legs are busted, we will drive towards our next destination,
passing trough the impressive rain forest, crystal lakes, steaming
thermal ponds, waterfalls...Near Argentine border we arrive to Antillanca
fun resort, home of Casa Blanca volcano...We will check in Eduardo
Meyer ski in/ski out hotel. After dinner, there will be free time
for hit the pubs, or just relax... |

Antillanca
is a small friendly resort, with easy access to the slopes, and
excellent off- piste hiking. If your soul still needs more, and
if weather and snow conditions are fine, we will climb to the ancient
crater volcano, at 2000m 6500feet. If you are beginning in
backcountry adventure, this is your opportunity.
From that point you will have the perfect spot to take a look at
most ancient nearby volcanoes, Osorno, Puyehue and Puntiagudo
Few miles away is Argentine boarder. This afternoon we will be crossing
The Andes for the second time, dropping into the small mountain
town of Villa La Angostura.
Villa La Angostura is becoming today most fashion tourist mountain
town in Argentina, small, charming, no crowed, sits on the western
shore of Nahuel Huapi lake, just in front Bariloche, both in Nahuel
Huapi National Park. Lots of restaurants, pubs, gets the right mix
of peace and party

Cerro Bayo is Villa La Angostura ski resort. Still managed by a
pioneer and also his founder, the place is really cool. Never ending
wood runs, great hiking will take us to untouched powder bowls and
backcountry runs. We will spend two full days exploring this terrain
and the surroundings...We still remember that 1995 Sunday. The night
before had snowed more than 1.5m, for those who make it to the parking
lot, (again you will cherish our 4X4 truck), were the ever dreaming
days...waist deep dry powder...for days...Last night we will have a
celebration dinner together and one more night to party together
in South America... |

| After
an early breakfast, we will drive to Neuquen airport, a last round
of hand shakes and hugs, before your flight from Neuquen to Buenos
Aires. For those with evening departures a private transportation
will take you to Ezeiza International Airport, but if you can stay
a few days at Buenos Aires, is a place you will always remember.
